Jennifer Montes, MD, MPH
Dr. Montes is a board-certified general surgeon by the American Board of Surgery specializing in diseases of the breast. Dr. Montes is a current and active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. She received her undergraduate education at Cornell University and then went on to receive her Masters in Public Health from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She earned her medical doctorate degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and went on to complete her surgical training at Lenox Hill Hospital. During this time, she also completed externships at Memorial Sloan Kettering, Columbia University and St. Luke’s Roosevelt in NY. After completing her residency, she was selected for the breast surgery fellowship at New York University Langone Medical Center.
Dr. Montes is a strong believer in treating the patient as a whole: body, mind, and spirit. She is a strong proponent of integrating Eastern holistic medicine modalities with traditional Western medicine and works closely with the Hunterdon Wellness Center to do so. She recently moved to the Flemington area to be more integrated into the community that she treats.
