Support Programs

Look Good… Feel Better
This single session program helps women undergoing cancer treatment learn to manage the appearance changes that may occur. A licensed cosmetologist will teach hands-on makeup techniques, as well as skin and nail care. All participants receive an array of complimentary cosmetics and skin care products. The Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation founded this program in partnership with the American Cancer Society and the National Cosmetology Association. It is offered alternating months and is hosted by Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center. Registration is required; please call 1-800-ACS-2345 for dates and times.

Wigs & Accessories
Recognizing the importance of personal appearance and body image in the recovery process of women with cancer, the American Cancer Society, Patient & Family Service Department and Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center have developed and sponsored this program for you. Join us for information on how to select a wig, how to care for your wig and how to style scarves. Free new wigs, a wig kit, and seasonal hats are available to women who are in need and do not have insurance coverage. Pre-registration is required. Please call the American Cancer Society at 1-800-ACS-2345.
