Nurse Navigator

Liezl joined Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center in 2020 as a Nurse Navigator. She helps coordinate care for all patients with a known or suspected cancer diagnosis and is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).

Liezl has worked in critical care environments as a Registered Nurse at Morristown Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel’s Emergency Departments and on the Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care Unit at Newark Beth Israel, caring for patients post-open heart and lung transplant surgeries. Liezl transitioned into a Valve Clinic Coordinator position in the Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center, which was named #1 in NJ and Top 5 program in the U.S. in 2019.

Liezl earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Thomas Edison State University, her Associate of Science (AS) from Union County College, and Nursing Diploma from the Muhlenberg School of Nursing, Accelerated Nursing Program. Liezl also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Chemistry from Seton Hall University.
